Brownell-Talbot One of 3 Schools in Nation to Receive $2 Million Malone Family Foundation Grant
Brownell-Talbot School has received a $2 million grant from the Malone Family Foundation of Englewood, Colo., to support endowed scholarships at the school. Funds from the endowment grant will support tuition and school-related expenses for exceptionally motivated and capable students with financial need in grades 7 through 12. Brownell-Talbot is the only Nebraska school and among three to receive a grant this year. Only 25 schools in the nation have received a Malone Family Foundation grant. More

Congratulations to Tabia Yapp for her performance in state track on May 16th-17th. Over those two days, she was able to run some of her best times of the year in the 200m dash. On that Friday, she won her preliminary heat, advancing her to the finals on Saturday. She finished 5th, capping off a great individual track season. Congratulations to Tabia! More
Browning Wins Bellevue University Juried Art Show
Congratulations to senior Katie Browning for having her visual art project selected as “Best in Show” at the Bellevue University Metro Seniors Juried Art Show.

Yakking Raiders Back to Back State Champions
Wednesday, March 19th the Brownell speech team competed in the state speech competition in Kearney. Going into finals, Brownell and Hartington were separated by Brownell having only one more person in the final round. As the team has done all year, they rose to the occasion and after it was all over, Brownell walked away with a back to back state championship by over 50 points. Brownell will also add four more individuals to its wall of champions. More
